Webster defines it as "The Science of last things." Really, it is the fundamental Science that underlies all reality, the very Science of Life itself.
It is the same Science Jesus taught his disciples, namely, the Science of thought, mentality and Mind.
The scientific part of the teaching that Jesus attempted to teach his disciples was for the most part, lost sight of, it being beclouded or misunderstood because of former mystical religious beliefs of his disciples.
Eschatology is an exact Science, the same as mathematics, and like mathematics, its higher branches cannot be understood until the simpler truths are understood.
Correct mathematical teaching is a progressive unfoldment of the truth, rule and law pertaining to mathematics.
It is the same with teaching Eschatology, the Science of Life, the Science of right thinking.
Knowing this to be the fact from my own unfoldment, I started teaching this Science in a progressive way. First, I attempted through story writing to bring out the simpler facts of Life to the student, the same as we awaken the child mind by the use of the simple story telling method. The next effort was a series of booklets to break down the erring religious beliefs of many who were seeking actual truth, but who had unwittingly been caught in the blind religious whirlpool, going round and round but never arriving at the actual fact of Life. These booklets are called the "Plain Talk Series."
The success of these booklets in unfolding truth to those caught in religious mysticism and church worship was so pronounced that I started a new series of booklets of a non-sectarian nature to reach all students. This series is called the "Common Sense Series." It will contain seventy booklets when finished covering every phase in the journey from belief to understanding. 34 of these are now on the market.
Knowing full well the great assistance a student may receive from an individual teacher, it was deemed advisable to bring forth various class teachings which carefully explain the exact meaning of the printed "word." These class teachings are also progressive and at the present time there are many certified teachers of Eschatology teaching the multitude at a very nominal price.
No better or quicker way to gain actual understanding of the Science of Life is to be had than by repeated class teaching and reviews.
I have given the world the book entitled "The Sickle" as a mental bridge to carry all safely across the seeming mysterious chasm which seems to be placed between erring human belief, and reason. I have given the advanced student "The Sharp Sickle" as a text-book for all time, because it reaches and covers the entire mental ground, from erring mysterious nonsensical religious teachings and beliefs to the very portals of understanding, through the application of common sense and right reason. This correct application of right thinking has become known as "The Walter Method."
Many write and ask, in what order of study of my works will they gain the best results.
As I wrote all of my works in a progressive way, I have always listed them that way in my advertising, therefore the best way is to follow the order as printed under "Works."
If the reader of this pamphlet will remember that Eschatology is not just another cult-ism-mystery or religion, but that it excludes all mysticism from its teaching, depending entirely upon common sense reasoning and right thinking and doing, as the all-power for good, he or she will not make the mistake of thinking this Science mysterious simply because not understood.
The measuring of the depth, breadth and width, of a bin to determine mathematically how many bushel of grain the bin will hold, may seem mysterious to one who does not understand, but it is only the simple common sense application of the known laws of mathematics, to the understander.
In conclusion I wish to state that there are no diseases-either so-called organic or inorganic, but what can be healed through the correct application of right thinking and doing.
